Change Maker Summit

Join Rice University’s Liu Idea Lab for Innovation & Entrepreneurship (Lilie), for a five-day virtual Change Maker Summit this August.

What is the Change Maker Summit (CMS)?

CMS is a five-day virtual summit where you’ll:

  • Meet your entrepreneurial family, make new friends who share your excitement for solving problems, and meet Rice faculty and partners who want to support you.
  • Dive into what it means to solve difficult problems with a human-centered, iterative approach through group-based projects with other incoming students.
  • Work with others to transform needs that you identify into solutions that can become products or services people use.
  • Get connected with resources at Rice in innovation and entrepreneurship, including courses, the entrepreneurship minor, competitions, small grant funding, and workshops to continue your journey.

In addition to the virtual component, there will be an in-person, two hour session during O-Week. Date to be posted by end of May.
