The Lab is located on the ground floor of the new Cambridge Office Building at the corner of Cambridge Street and Main Street on campus.
Parking is available in the building garage.

Here you will find entrepreneurs and experts in residence, mentors, and innovators from fields across campus. It is a bridge between Rice and the broader innovation and entrepreneurship community in Houston and beyond. The Lab hosts experiential classes and co-curricular events such as the Lilie Lectures, competitions, and workshops.
Lilie hosts special events open to the public. All events hosted in the Lab require registration. All participants in Lab activities are expected to uphold the standards articulated in the Lab guidelines as well as Rice University, including current Rice University COVID-19 policies and recommendations.
Use of the Liu Idea Lab for events is considered on a one-by-one basis. If you would like your request considered, please complete this form. Please note: events must be related to innovation or entrepreneurship.
