Rice Entrepreneurship FIESTA Night One

During Night 1 of FIESTA: Get inspired by our keynote speaker, Trevor Best, the CEO and cofounder of Syzygy, a spinout from Rice’s research labs that is changing how chemicals are manufactured by making them cleaner, and greener, than ever before. Fresh off their $70M Series C investment, Trevor will share stories from his life and career, the early days of Syzygy, and the challenges encountered and overcome on his and Syzygy’s journey to upend the antiquated and dirty ways chemicals have always been produced. You’ll also have an opportunity to hear from rising student founders that took their startup throughout Rice’s summer startup accelerator program, the Lilie Summer Venture Studio Accelerator.
