The Liu Idea Lab is open to current Rice students for co-working. To access the lab, students must complete a quiz over the usage guidelines here:

Co-working Hours:
Monday through Thursday: 12:00pm – 12:00am
Friday: 12:00pm – 10:00pm
Saturday: 9:00am – 10:00pm
Sunday 9:00am – 12:00am

For those students that are looking for an alternative makerspace from the OEDK, the Moody Makerspace s an interdisciplinary lab designed to support current Rice University students, faculty, and staff.  They have a wood shop, a metal shop, and a variety of other rapid prototyping equipment. You can find out more information here.


Free to the community, you can drop into this clinic to get support from students enrolled int eh Data Science Consulting course. Typically the clinic is held Mondays from 1:00-4:00pm in Rayzor Hall, but make sure to check out their website for the latest detalis.
