Founder Finder

Do you have an idea but need to recruit teammates with complementary skills?

Do you want to join a team and apply your talents to solving a problem?  Are you looking to meet others who want to change the world through business?

Join us for Founder Finder, an event designed to connect students across campus who are interested in solving problems and starting new ventures.  This event series will bring together the Rice community to form interdisciplinary teams to start new ventures. We are bringing together engineers, artists, MBAs, scientists, designers, PhDs, writers, et al. for several evenings of sharing and team formation. To register and learn more about the Founder Finder series, keep an eye on our events page.

Lilie will Help You Turn an Idea into the Idea

Defining Problem Spaces

This workshop series is designed for any student as the first step towards building a startup. You can either bring an existing venture idea to the table and learn how to advance it, or attend and learn how to formulate new ideas. Either way, this is a great opportunity to learn about the first steps in the startup process, find other founders, and continue to build both your network and the Rice entrepreneurship community.

Understanding Your User

Learn how to turn your idea into the next big idea by understanding your users at Lilie. There’ll be interactive activities and networking opportunities.

Exploring the Problem with Your User

The third and final part of the series will focus on exploring a problem space with potential users.
