Venture Development Workshop #3: No Code Prototyping

October 4, 2021 @ 4:00 pm - 5:30 pm CDT

No Coding Required: How to Prototype your Idea for $0

About this event

In the third installment of the Venture Development Workshop series, we will build upon the themes covered in the From Wild Idea to First Steps and From High Hypothesis to High Growth events and show participants how to create low fidelity prototypes without spending a dollar or knowing how to write a single line of code.

Entrepreneur Adam Putterman will cover some of the free tools available for prototype creation that anyone can use and run through some brief examples. At the end of the session participants will have a sense of what tools will best fit their prototyping needs and how to get started creating something that will help them gather data from potential customers.

About Adam:

Adam Putterman is the cofounder of Actually, where he and the team are redesigning relationship counseling for the digital age and modern world. After completing degrees at Washington University in St. Louis, and Northwestern University, and spending time as a consultant at Deloitte, Adam was bit by the startup bug and spent time in the trenches at Nesterly and Pattern Brands before starting Marinade, the precursor to his current startup, which also focused on building digital products and experiences for couples.

*This event is only open to current Rice students and alumni.
