Entrepreneurs aren’t just business people, they’re also hypemen, champions, and cheerleaders of their own ventures. Clearly voicing to your stakeholders what your venture is all about and the value it provides in order to get people interested and involved is a skill that requires strategy and practice.
Kyle Judah, Lilie’s Executive Director and an entrepreneur himself, will help you create your winning pitch strategy and hone in on the finer points of effectively communicating your venture to others. Kyle will show students how to not only communicate startup concepts like business models and value propositions, but also how to sell a vision, mission, and even themselves.
This workshop is especially designed for those who have applied to Rice’s new venture competition, the Napier Rice Launch Challenge (NRLC), but is open to all Rice students and alumni interested in learning the art of pitching.
All NRLC applicants should be in attendance in preparation for the 3/24 Round One event and their shot to win equity-free cash prizes for their venture ideas during the 4/20 Championships.
