Alumni Spotlight: Career Pivots and Transitions

Whether you’re thinking about a career change or going full-time on your side hustle, these fellow Owls have experienced the same feelings and challenges that come with making the leap. On October 24, hear advice from alumni who have pivoted – including answers to questions like:

• How did you cultivate and create the opportunity that you ultimately pursued?
• How can you increase your chance of success in going full-time on your side hustle?
• What are some of the questions you’ve asked yourself to help guide your career pivot?
• Have you personally experienced imposter syndrome? If so, how have you worked with, around, or through it?
• Was there ever a time that you said no to a possible career pivot?
• What are some books or resources that you’ve come across that have changed the way you think about the way you think and solve problems?

The conversation will feature panelist Rohan Bairat MBA ‘09 and Sandy Elrod MBA ‘18, moderated by Spencer Randall ‘13.
