Rice Alumni | Entrepreneurs & Innovators (RA|EI)
As a global powerhouse in entrepreneurship education, Rice University has a world-class community of alumni that are engaged in entrepreneurial and innovative pursuits. Our alumni have transformed industries through the creation and funding of game changing startups as well as established first-in-class entrepreneurial ecosystems around the globe. Now is the time to bring this network together to form new connections, engage with old friends, and inspire current Rice students.
With RA|EI, we aim to continue building a global network of Rice alumni that are actively engaging in entrepreneurship and innovation. This network, in coordination with Lilie, serves to:
- Host social events to support the expansion of this network and engagement with students
- Host educational events to encourage life long learning in entrepreneurship
- Act as a consultancy for the development and growth of Lilie programming
- Encourage giving to better serve our entrepreneurial students through Lilie’s curricular and co-curricular programming
A new website is under construction, but for now, please signal your interest in the network and mailings HERE.
Our alumni have been busy connecting and hosting events in Houston. In addition to a free general membership, members may join a Houston Roundtable as part of the Houston chapter offering. The Roundtables foster peer-to-peer support within a small group of trusted entrepreneurs. Each small group meets monthly to draw from the expertise – and lessons learned – of fellow entrepreneurs in the group. The group sessions are designed to address your unique needs as an entrepreneur – tackling challenges in your business – to help you reach new goals. You can learn more about the Houston Roundtable offering HERE.
Additionally, we are hosting our kick-off event on April 18th. Please register HERE. Invite all Rice alumni in the entrepreneurial and investment space!
We will be announcing our launch on the West Coast in May. Stay tuned!
We are gathering data on the next cities to launch regional chapters. Austin, Seattle, and NYC are coming soon!
